Antique English rocking horse produced by Baby Carriages (1906-1963), then BCL Ramblers, of Liverpool. A metal plate at the base of the rocking testifies the origin. As the name suggests, the company was specialized in baby carriages, but had also rocking horses in their catalog production. Together with the most important Collinson (1836-1994) had a monopoly of supplies to children’s areas of the great ships that were in the main port of Liverpool. George has not undergone any restoration work and is shown consumed by time and by the love of his young masters.
